Desert Falcon 5-27-87

    

 

This version of Desert Falcon appears to be a non-playable demo which shows off the various gameplay elements.  The demo will run all the way through a stage and even shows the sphinx fight.  Oddly the demo never shows the falcon hopping along the ground or picking up hieroglyphs, so they probably were not implemented.

Game is a non-playable demo.
Colors are different
There is no sound
The information display is different
The demo never hops along the ground or swims
The demo never picks up hieroglyphs or uses super powers
Hieroglyph graphics are slightly different
The pyramids are solid white instead of being shaded
The scarab beetle graphics are different
There is no title screen

That red blob is the scarab beetle (I think)

Notice the placeholders for the hieroglyphs

The sphinx is still here!
