Galaxian 1-5-83

 

Unlike the earlier mislabeled prototype, this version was indeed made on Jan. 5th.  This version is close to the final, but is missing some finishing touches like the title screen and sound effects.

Differences
There is no title screen after the demo ends.  Instead the demo immediately repeats itself
There is no level select
There is no sound
The explosion of your ship is different
The game plays slightly slower
The game is significantly harder.  Galaxians will swoop down and fire multiple shots from the start.
The border around the screen is slightly darker
Your ships death explosion can bleed through to the other side of the screen if you die on the extreme left or right.
