Little. Yellow. Different. No this isn't a Neuprin commercial, this
is Laser Blast! So what makes your little yellow ship so different?
Two words: Giant Laser. Laser Blast is a fast paced shooting
game where you must use your ships giant laser to quickly destroy the
three tanks at the bottom of each screen. You must be careful however
since the tanks are also armed with lasers and will quickly shoot you
down if you stay in one place too long.
The action in Laser Blast moves at lightning speed, and if your not
careful you can die in a blink of an eye. If you do get shot down,
you can find as perverse form of satisfaction as you crash your burning
ship into the enemy who shot you. Now there's a feature you won't
find in any other video game.
While it may be low on plot, Laser Blast makes up for it
with it's blinding speed. At the higher levels you have to rely
more on instinct than visual input. Laser Blast is one of the great
"twitch" games.
