RealSports Baseball 6-2-83

A lot of work has been done on the game since the 4-14 version.  Not only have most of the bugs been fixed, but now we have music to go along with all the new voice samples.  The game also now plays at full speed and seems to be feature complete.  Since this prototype shows that both the extra voice samples and music can fit into the game, it's unknown why they were removed from the final product.

Prototype Differences

The voice is closer to the final version but still different

At the start of the game the voice says "Play Ball" and then plays the music as the players walk out

There is a wrong note in the opening music (right on the words "Cracker Jacks")

The voice will sometimes put a different emphasis on the word "Strike" making it sound like "Stee-rike"

The voice says "Run Scores" when scoring a run

The voice says "Time Out" when pausing and "Play Ball" when unpausing

 

 

The hidden credits have their final coloring now	Play Ball!
This isn't good...	The computer isn't the best pitcher sometimes
