Star Raiders II ?-??-85

This is the final version of The Last Starfighter after it was modified and renamed to Star Raiders II.  While the two games have the same general gameplay and graphics, there were some changes made t o make the game more like the original Star Raiders.  The biggest changes are the addition of Star Bases and shields which were not at all present in the original.  Star Raiders II also removed the barrier cutting ships since those only made sense in the context of TLSF.

Differences Between Star Raiders II and The Last Starfighter
Star Raiders II has a standard title screen instead of the ship launching intro
The names have been changed between the two games due to movie license expiring.  The Ko-Dan Empire became The Zylon Empire and the planets Rylos, Ko-Dan , and Galen became Teris, Zylon, and Imbri.  The Gunstar became the Liberty Star, while Deckfighters and Xurian Ships became Zylon Fly Fighters and Destroyers.  For some reason the cities on the planets became bases.
The colors are different between the two games.  In TLSF the colors on the map screen are green with gray text and the control panel on the cockpit screen is purple.   In Star Raiders II the map colors are red with yellow text and the cockpit control panel is gray.
Star Raiders II adds an extra mode to the targeting box in the center of the control panel.  When in tactical mode, the display showing the status of all your systems.  Teh two modes can bet toggled between by pressing the T key.  In TLSF the status of your systems are represented by three lights in the lower left of the control panel (these are still there in Star Raiders II).
Star Raiders II has Star Bases which will refuel your ship slowly, but safely.  You can still recharge quickly in the sun however.
Star Raiders II  removes the barrier and the barrier cutting ships
Star Raiders II adds shields to your ship.  Shields can be toggled on and off with the S key.
In TLSF the difficulty level effects how often the barrier will be attacked, in Star Raiders Ii it changes how many Star Bases are present
In TLSF you do not move in space when shooting at ships in the cockpit view.  In Star Raiders II you are constantly moving even when it the cockpit view
In TLSF the ship can move in any direction or even stop when orbiting a planet.  In Star Raiders II your ship cannot move backwards and cannot fully stop while in orbit.
The ending message was changed and updated with the new names.
