Mountain King
Original System: Atari 400/800
Developed by K-Byte but released by CBS after K-Byte stopped
publishing their own titles, Mountain King is an interesting
action game in which you must explore a mysterious mountain in
order to find the crown of the mountain king and make back to the
top alive. In order to get to the crown the player must find
the flame spirit which won't appear until a certain amount of
diamonds have been collected. It's a simple game to learn,
but rather tough to beat.
The Atari 5200 and 400/800 ports are identical except for the
title screen. On the Atari 400/800 version it says CBS
Software while on the 5200 version it says CBS Electronics.
It's unknown why CBS changed their name but this change is present
in all their 5200 titles.
