Original System: Atari 400/800

Programmed by Roklan for the Atari 400/800, CBS Electronics decided to publish the Atari 5200 port as Roklan had no interest in publishing 5200 games themselves. The 400/800 and 5200 versions are some of the better ports of the game.

The two versions are very similar with the exception of the title screen which has extra CBS Electronics text removes the reference to Roklan. The game demo is also slightly different in that it doesn't show zeros for the players score and for some reason doesn't show the mission number.

There also exists a rare disk based version of Wizard of Wor for the Atari 400/800 which added a high score table, a screen that introduces the characters, and a demo with instructions on how to play.
