Football
The Sears
artwork is quite interesting, I like the red background with
the playbook in the corner (I wonder if the same artist did
the Sears version of Code Breaker?). The Atari artwork
uses that blurry motion style which was quite common on early
2600 games. If you look closely at the Atari artwork you'll
see the Fuji logo on some of the player’s helmets. Atari
did this with most of their sports games (Team Atari!), but it
appears Sears wasn’t invited to the party. The Atari
picture has one of those odd 'spheres' in it which was a
trademark of the artist as it's seen in numerous early Atari
titles. This one is tough call, but I’m going to give
the nod to the Sears artwork since it stands out a bit more
and the thought of Sears sponsoring a football team is kind of
funny.
