Arrington Music System

The Arrington Music System was a music device developed by Howard Arrington and sold through his company Arrington Software Service.  The Arrington Music System was a 6-bit DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) that allowed the Sorcerer to play 4 channel music using special software.  The device plugged into the Sorcerer's parallel port and required the user to hook up a pair of speakers.

In 2020 Exidy researcher Michael Brothwick was able to acquire one of these devices and clone it.  Michael was also able to recover the software (Piano Player and Music Composer) that went with it.  Thanks to Michael for the pictures of this extremely rare device.
